This Cookie Policy describes cookies and similar browser storage associated with afropari-bet.co. The guide uses local storage for a saved cookie choice and, only with permission, reading preferences. It does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies.
Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a small value that a website can ask the browser to store and return with later requests. Local storage also keeps values in the browser, but the browser does not automatically send those values with each page request. This guide's preference controls use local storage.
The term Cookie settings is used for the control that manages these storage choices. Choosing a language does not create a separate language-preference record: the language is determined by the page address. Opening a menu or a FAQ answer also does not create a permanent browsing-history record.
Storage inventory
| Key | Category | What it contains | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| afropari-bet-consent-v2 | Necessary choice record | Consent version, necessary-storage status, reading-preference permission and selected decision | Until replaced or removed through browser site-data controls |
| afropari-bet-reading-v1 | Optional reading preferences | Text size, higher contrast, link underlining and reduced-motion choices | Until reset, permission is withdrawn or site data is cleared |
These records contain no name, email address, payment details or player-account identifier. The site does not assign a unique visitor-tracking ID through these controls. It does not send the reading settings or choice record to the operator or an advertising service.
The earlier notice used a simple acknowledgment record. That record does not count as permission for optional reading storage. When you save a choice through the current controls, the old acknowledgment is removed.
Necessary storage
After you make an explicit choice, the site stores that decision so it can honour it and avoid asking the same question on each page. This record is necessary to operate the preference mechanism you have used; it does not activate analytics, marketing or a betting account.
Before you save a decision, closing the window or continuing to read does not create an affirmative consent record. Optional reading preferences remain unsaved. If you leave without a decision, the choice window may appear again on the next page or visit.
Optional reading preferences
If enabled, the optional category remembers the settings selected in Reading & accessibility: text size, contrast, link underlining and reduced motion. This can make subsequent pages more comfortable to read on the same device.
You can still use all those controls when the category is off. The changes then apply to the current page without being saved for a later visit. This guide does not require you to disclose a visual, hearing or other impairment to use them.
The category is off until you actively allow it. No preselected permission is treated as consent, and visiting the site or scrolling through an article does not enable optional storage.
The choices in the popup
- Only necessary saves the decision and disables persistent reading preferences.
- Accept all permits the storage categories described here, including optional reading preferences. It does not enable advertising or analytics that this site does not use.
- Choose settings opens the category explanation. Switch optional reading preferences on or off, then select Save my choices.
- The close button and Escape dismiss the window without making a new consent decision.
Accepting and declining optional storage are available at the same level in the popup. Both choices allow you to read the articles, open the FAQ and use navigation. Accepting storage is separate from accepting this site's terms or entering into a contract with a betting operator.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page to reopen the popup. You can also reach it from the reading-settings panel. To withdraw optional permission, select Only necessary, or turn the optional category off and save.
Withdrawal removes the saved reading-preference record. The browser may keep the appearance already applied to the current page until you reload it or reset the settings, but the site will not save additional reading preferences while permission is off. Reset reading settings restores the standard appearance and deletes that preference record without deleting your cookie decision.
Where a choice applies
The decision applies across pages and language routes using the same site origin in the same browser. It is not an account-wide setting and is not shared automatically with a different device, browser, subdomain or external website. Browser security rules distinguish different origins.
Private browsing, cleared site data or blocked storage can cause the popup to appear again. If saving is blocked, a text confirmation explains that the choice applies to the current page. The guide remains usable without storage access.
External destinations
Affiliate buttons may take you through aplink.digital to an operator or download endpoint. Those services may set cookies, record campaign activity or use other storage according to their own policies. This guide cannot delete or control storage belonging to another website.
Read the destination's cookie and privacy information before registering, installing an app or providing documents. Changing the preference here does not withdraw consent you gave separately to another service, erase its account records or reverse an earlier affiliate-link request.
Further information
The Privacy Policy explains page-delivery requests, external links and the limits of this publisher's role. This site's public hosting and publisher-contact details remain to be confirmed before launch. The current storage inventory describes the site itself and must be revised if its actual storage behaviour changes.
